The Strandhill chapter of Saltwater Festival celebrates the culture and community of one of Ireland’s most iconic surf towns. Across the week leading into the main weekend, Strandhill hosts talks , music and workshops in the National Surf Centre, alongside the Monster Expression Session, The Shells Grom & Mini Grom expression session will see the Groms battle it outWith its mix of waves, music and conversation. A gathering that’s as much about place and people as it is about performance.

Saltwater Festival & the WSL are delighted to announce the LIP ATTACK Expression Session fuelled by Monster Energy, will be held at Strandhill between 4th - 7th of September. This WSL sanctioned event will see professional surfers from all over Europe compete for 2000 euro in cash prizes for the biggest manoeuvre.

Saltwater is delighted to invite English surf Para Team Manager Phil Wiliams to share the Journey of Para Surfing in England- From Grass roots to international competition!

Alongside Irish Surfing, our Charity partner Liquid Therapy and The National Surf Centre this working conversation will explore the possibilities, challenges and opportunities Ireland has as it embarks on its Para Surfing development.
